At ElmasLabs, we are committed to delivering high-quality microscopy analysis services, training, and consulting. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for our services.
We encourage clients to thoroughly review project scopes, timelines, and deliverables before engagement to ensure alignment with expectations.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Full Refund (100%)
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 14 days of payment and before any work has commenced
- ElmasLabs is unable to deliver the agreed-upon services due to unforeseen circumstances on our end
- There is a material breach of contract by ElmasLabs
2.2 Partial Refund (Prorated)
A partial refund may be issued if:
- Work has been initiated but is less than 50% complete at the time of the refund request
- The refund request is made within 30 days of project commencement
- Deliverables have not yet been provided to the client
Partial refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed, minus any non-refundable costs (see Section 3).
2.3 No Refund
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Work is more than 50% complete or final deliverables have been provided
- The client has accepted and approved the completed work
- Refund requests are made more than 30 days after project commencement
- The client changes project requirements mid-engagement without adjusting the contract
- Training sessions or workshops that have already been conducted
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Discovery consultations and initial project scoping meetings
- Custom analysis pipelines or code that has been delivered
- Training materials and recorded workshop sessions that have been shared
- Third-party software licenses or tools purchased specifically for your project
- Time spent on revisions after client approval of deliverables
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Us
Send an email to info@elmaslabs.com with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Project Name]"
Step 2: Provide Required Information
Include the following details:
- Your full name and contact information
- Project or service name
- Date of payment
- Transaction ID or invoice number
- Reason for requesting a refund
Step 3: Review and Response
Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days and respond with an approval, denial, or request for additional information.
5. Refund Processing
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
- Payment Gateway Fees: Please note that payment processing fees charged by third-party gateways (e.g., Cashfree) are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount
- Bank Processing Time: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations
- Clients may cancel services at any time, but refunds will be subject to the terms outlined in Section 2
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@elmaslabs.com
6.2 ElmasLabs-Initiated Cancellations
ElmasLabs reserves the right to cancel a project if:
- The client fails to provide necessary data, information, or resources after multiple requests
- The client violates our Terms of Service or engages in abusive behavior toward our team
- Unforeseen technical or operational challenges make project completion infeasible
In such cases, a full or prorated refund will be issued based on work completed.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, you may request a review by escalating your case to our senior management team. Please email info@elmaslabs.com with the subject line: "Refund Dispute - [Your Project Name]"
We aim to resolve disputes amicably and in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of India, and any legal proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
8. Changes to This Policy
ElmasLabs reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
